Produce Yourself is an associative label which aims to produce, distribute and showcase independent music creations on a collaborative basis, bringing together authors, composers and producers and rewarding them fairly for their participation in projects.
01/08/10 After a year of investigation, research and travel, Produce Yourself expands its horizons by offering you a pensive musical story painting by the sweet melodies of a melancholic post-rock: 'Light is Black' affected us by his authenticity and modesty. With their music, they allow us to invent our own stories but in color this time. What a nice gift for the first anniversary of PY. We wanted to share it with you. Enjoy it!
01/08/2009 To launch its website, Produce Yourself invites you to discover the three first artists:
- =K.Z.O= and the release of his 7 tracks eponymous album of haunting post rock and electro music. - LIRYC and his 6 tracks rap/trip-hop album Confused. - NEITHER GENIUS and his 12 acoustic rock songs released on the album Connecticut.
These three projects, all of them very different in style, reflect the label’s desire to not confine itself to one particular type of music. Our challenge is to find original and unique ideas in the music world, and call attention to the potential of non-formatted music projects that chose to express themselves in a particular and distinct voice.
